Join us as we take day trips throughout the region. The Town of Poughkeepsie funds the cost for the bus, all you pay for is the cost of the venue (food, show, etc.).
PLEASE NOTE: Trip information subject to change prior to opening of registration.
These trips involve walking, standing and may include stairs. The Senior Center does not supply personal care aides. You are welcome to have someone accompany you if needed. (They will need to register as a trip participant.)
Registration is first come, first served.
Trips are open to Town residents aged 55 years or older. Non-residents are welcome if there is space available. (See bullet point 4 below).
Registration opens 2 months before the trip for Town of Poughkeepsie residents.
Registration opens 1 month before the trip for non-residents.
Non-residents are charged an extra $20 to cover their share of the bus cost.

You'll know where we're going when we get there. The cost for Town residents is only $5 for a full day of fun. We'll get you to the destination and give you more information, but the rest (including lunch) is up to you and your friends, so remember your wallet. This is a walking day, with restful areas to sit. Here are some clues:
*We'll leave the Hudson River behind for wider water ways.
*It could be salty and maybe fishy, if you so choose.
*Pathways lead to unique destinations where shoppers can delight.
*A cornucopia of foods will satisfy your lunch desires.
Dec 9 Hunterdon Playhouse Christmas Show
* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
