General Information |
Peach Hill Park is our 159 acre Park Preserve. The park consists of the highest point in the town; outstanding views of the Catskills, Hudson Highlands, Taconics and Berkshires; an old apple orchard and a wetland area. Two acres of the apple orchard have been renewed and now bear apples in the early fall.
Three and a half miles of marked walking trails take you around the site. Peach Hill was recognized by the Poughkeepsie Journal in 2015 as one of the top 10 hiking spots in the Hudson Valley.
The park is being developed and run with the help of the Friends of Peach Hill, a group of local supporters. Visit their website at www.PeachHillPark.org .
The entrance is located at 34 Edgewood Drive off of Salt Point Turnpike..ATV use and hunting are not allowed. |
